What Would I Wear to a Vivienne Westwood SS2023 Fashion Show Today in Paris FW
Fashion weeks are in full swing and this year I am taking part in those fashion fantacies by creating looks I would wear to the shows of my favorite designers, if I was invited.
Today, 1st of October, one o'clock in the city of Paris, a Vivienne Westwood show is due to be presented and there is only one approriate outfit in my wardrobe for this occasion: my beloved tweeds.
An intense admiration of, interest in, or tendency to imitate English institutions, manners, customes, etc.
Vivienne Westwood, the inventor of Punk, a lifelong activist and an advocate of education, is also known for her marvalous tailored tweed and tartan pieces. She actually had her own tartan pattern developed for the "Anglomania" A/W 1993/94 collection which, amongst other things, studied English tailoring, country charm and patrionisim. Furthermore, Vivenne Westwood has her own Scottish clan "MacAndreas" which I would not mind joining.

THE ANDREAS KRONTHALER
FOR VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
The Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood SS2023 fashion show took place in a theatre in Paris where the models walked through the stage wearing sky high platform boots in brown croc leather and diamond embellished over the knee boots. My favorite looks from the show were a selection of dresses all possessing somewhat dramatic silhouettes. One of them was a black dress with a white tulle cloud on the front. Then there was a navy check patterned dress with a pleated hem and one white super short with huge shoulder pads.
See the collection here.
