Therefore, I have put my most fabulous foot forward and created a series of beauty and fashion looks inspired by the most glamorous places, people and items under glittering

December stars...

Crying Swan

Surge of the midnight sky
Like deep blue Atlantic ocean in a sharp winter's dream
Ripples, waves and swings as a lonely swan tries for the bright north star

Valsing on the surface of the infinite horizon
Calling for the one it lost for a frost bitten winter's kiss
Screaming into the deepening blue...
Hearing but a faintest wishper saing: "I loved you too"

So strong the sorrow of a heartbroken swan
Its droplets of diamond tears turned into stars one by one
And now the constellation of a swan on the northen hemisphere
Can be seen because of the swan who shed a pearly tear

If spirit animals are a real thing then I really, really wish mine would be a swan for I have always regarded swans as the most beautiful of birds. Perhaps my fascination started from "Swan Lake", the ballet, or maybe it is due to the fact that swans are finnish national birds and therefore swan imagery is represented in our everyday objects such as coins and passports. Either way, after delving deeper into what swans have meant for humanity throughout history their symbolisim speaks loud and clear to us romantic souls.

Most commonly, across cultures, a swan symbolizes light, beauty, love, romance, grace, purity, death, transformation and melancholy passion as well as is often associated with music, poetry and creativity. In fact, the very word "swan" comes from an indo-European verb "swen", to sing, and the term "swan song" (a creative individual's final perfomance) stems from a folklore legend that swans sing most beautifully just before they die. Furthermore, swans are considered loyal and sensivite birds since they mate for life and some also believe that when encountered with swans they act as reminders of our own inner beauty.
