Thursday, 2 September – Welcome back!
Welcome back to the blog or perhaps I should welcome myself back for it has been a little over two months since my last post here. That's why, I feel like it is time to break the radio silence as we step back into real life and everyday living now that summer is over. However, some of you may (or may not) wonder where I have been but it is safe to say that my holiday extended to the blog this year as well. Truthfully, I just didn't feel like blogging and perhaps I really needed to take a break after fife years of blogging almoust every week! But here we go again, althought, I do feel a bit nervous and out of practise now that I haven't been posting...
Anyway, I wanted to check in before I started posting my usual posts and ask how your summer went. Naturally, I hope you had a fine and glorious summer wherever you were in the world dispite all of the sad news breaking all summer long. My summer wasn't glorious but it was not too bad either since I got to swim a lot and see a few friends I hadn't met in awhile. I also had time to practise some sewing as you can see from the blouse I am wearing. What's more, I am planning on making a tweed suit from a harris tweed fabric I ordered all the way from Britain, so stay tuned for that.
Lastly, I hope you're looking forward this autumn and I would love to know if there's anything you would like to see from me. I can already say as much that I will be publishing soon(ish) a post regarding my internship I did at a department store in June and will continue this Glam Diaries -series. And yes, of course, we will celebrate the fife year blogging anniversary this month also!
