Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel was a famous french designer and a founder of the fashion powerhouse Chanel. She was a poor girl raised in an orphanage who dreamed a career as a singer but with not much success. However, later on Gabrielle came to find her talents in sewing and designing first hats and later clothes. She began friends with rich people and starded making hats for her lover's friends who's clothes she found very unpractical to move in. For this, and some other misfortunaties women had to face in the early 1900s such as corsets that made working in factories hard during the first world war, Chanel decided to say "No more corsets!" and started making her vision of how women wanted to dress a reality. Shortly, the little black dress, Chanel No. 5° and the timeless flapbag were born changing both women's and the fashion world forever.
Chanel -style is elegant, classic and always luxurious. With finest of fabrics, jewelry makers and brand's own cosmetic army Chanel creates breathtaking haute couture, prêt-à-porter pieces for everyday wear, drowns us in gorgeous scents all over again and paints our faces in expensive makeup.
