Spring is here!! Finally the cold and dark winter is over and the sun is shining again. Today I'm going to show you a few beauty tips to slay your makeup game for the upcoming spring and summer time.
Pink and pastels are really in at the moment but they might not be everyones favourite colours. Personally I'm one of those who find these colours don't really suit on me or they just feel hard to wear. So if you're like me you may get some helpful tips here, how to wear colour but not look like a rainbow keep on reading.
So when it comes to makeup for someone things might get a bit scary and weird. Don't be afraid to try out new things and trends even if they're absolutely crazy. If you're not sure about colourful eyeshadow, liner or lips just start out with a little bit of blush and a nice lipgloss to update your look but be careful not to apply too much especially if you're a beginner. Now if you're the more is more kinda girl go ahead and apply those colours. If you don't own any colourful eyeshadows or liners don't you worry. You can absolutely use blushes as a pink shadow and liquid lipsticks as fun liners. That's what I did.
I used KatVonD's liquid lipstick in a shade Berlin and Sephora's blush in a shade Flirt it up.
Now here are some other items that I've recently used. Lancome's perfumer La vie set belle has been my favourite for the spring time and YSL's Rouge Volupté lipstick in a colour one is a perfect shade of pink. I've also enjoyed this NYX Love contours all palette which contains two beautiful highlights and contour shades for cheeks and eyes. Also a few mouths ago I purchased some makeup brushes from XO beauty and I've been loving them. In the picture you can see powder-, shimmer tulip- and blender brushes.
Here are some looks that I created for the spring time. What I used:
base: Smashbox studio skin, Nyx sculpt and highlight duo, Nyx Highlight and contour pro palette and Nyx strobe of genius illuminating palette, Nyx love contours all palette and Sephoras blush in orange punchy sunbaked.
Brows: Nyx love contours all palette. Lips: colourpop lippie stix in she bad.
Eyes: Nyx love contours all palette, Sephora blush in Flirt it up and Nyx strobe of genius illuminating palette and Clarins wonder perfect mascara.
If you're more a wing kinda girl next look might be more your thing. I did that wing by using liquid lipstick. I used Sephora blushes in Flirt it up and orange punchy sunbaked an also Urban Decay Naked3 palette shades stranger, limit and nooner.
You can use colours you like. And remember to not be afraid of try new creative looks. Here is another one I created.
My liners aren't perfect but they don't have to be. I'm getting better everyday and if I can do it then you can do it too.
I hope you enjoyed reading this and found some inspiration for your spring and summer makeup.
Thanks for reading!
